Loan Documentation Specialist

Department: Loan Operations
Location: Dixon, CA

Summary

The Loan Documentation Specialist prepares loan documents, performs complex ancillary documentation duties, reviews prepared loan files for imaging and performs scanning functions using imaging software.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze Credit Approval to determine appropriate due diligence necessary to document loans
  • Prepare documentation evidence of contractual obligations between the bank and customers as pertaining to credit issuance by the bank. Such documents include but are not limited to those that evidence signing authorities, obligations to lend and repay, and collateral positions
  • Ensure documentation input accurately satisfies credit approval requirements of associated loans
  • Perform research and discuss loans with branch and department team members with confidence and knowledge
  • Review entity documentation to understand business structure and authorized signers
  • Assist in reviewing loan documents for accuracy and conformity to Bank policy
  • Assist with preparing various loan files for imaging
  • Order necessary information for documentation such as flood certifications, UCC filings, corporate searches, etc.
  • Comply with all applicable Banking compliance rules and regulations established by both internal departments and external agencies

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and/or
  • 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Should be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with Laser Pro loan documentation software a plus

Pay Range (Hourly): $20-$25/hour
