What You’ll Do
The SVP/Ag Loan Team Leader directs the management of the Ag Loan Team to ensure the achievement of the Bank’s loan volume and asset quality objectives. This role establishes individual loan officer and team goals and ensures active management of the loan portfolio. This individual is a player-coach, developing and coaching others while managing their own book of business and driving the growth of the Agribusiness portfolio.
Responsibilities Include
- Track and monitor the performance of designated loan team members based on production and loan quality. Coach and hold accountable to consistently high levels of performance.
- Supervise Agribusiness team members and emphasize team concept for managing workflow and managing client relationships.
- Maintain and expand the Bank’s business profile through professional and community relations to increase the Bank’s visibility and new business opportunities.
- Recommend strategic initiatives designed to expand the Bank’s Agribusiness market share, along with supporting plans for implementation.
- Review, monitor and track new and renewing loans through a weekly loan pipeline reporting program.
- Ensure Loan Officers are effectively planning and focusing their outreach and follow-up efforts to result in growth of client base and ongoing client satisfaction
- Monitor team member loan customer relationships through an officer calling program.
- Assist team members to focus sales efforts towards targeted businesses based on individual goals.
- Coordinate with the Client Relationship Managers the marketing of loan products, deposit products and related Bank services in all market areas, working collaboratively to expand reach.
- Assist in the training and motivation of Agribusiness Loan Officers and support team(s); collaborate and share information with Credit Services partners to enhance education and understanding of all.
- Make loan approval recommendations to the Credit Administration team on behalf of the Agribusiness team.
- Work with Compliance Manager to support Community Reinvestment Act lending activities.
- Comply with all applicable Banking compliance rules and regulations established by both internal departments and external agencies.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or other related field required; and
- 10 years’ banking experience, to include 7 years’ management and/or experience in commercial lending

Pay Range (Salary): $150,000.00 - $175,000.00/year
