What You’ll Do
This position supports the Business Industries & Agricultural Lending Teams throughout the loan process from origination to ongoing portfolio maintenance. This individual has a working knowledge of commercial and agriculture lending applications, loan documentation, agricultural loan disbursements, loan documentation intake and tracking, and performs various ancillary functions in support of the lending teams.
Responsibilities Include
- Prepare new loan applications in credit processing platforms, upload customer documents, and move through workflow.
- Create folders and upload documents in the department’s file format.
- Coordinate with Loan Officers to order preliminary title reports, property profiles, trust certificates, Secretary of Secretary Business Search, Entity and Identification documents, UCC searches, flood certificates, appraisals, environmental reports, collateral reports and exams, insurance certificates, and tax return verifications (if SBA 7a).
- Review preliminary title reports and advise Loan Officers of items needing attention or to be cleared from title.
- Utilize credit processing platforms to start the loan application process, coordinate and order loan documents internally.
- Utilize calendar reminders to ensure the Bank stays in compliance with Reg B by reminding Loan Officers of upcoming actions.
- Assist Loan Officers as needed by securing tickler items from borrowers, including but not limited to annual financial statements, property operating statements and rental rolls.
- Support monitoring and clearing the tickler items on the Tickler Report, as needed.
- Coordinate with title & escrow companies, prepare loan closing instructions for Loan Officer review and approval.
- Review closing instructions, signed loan documents and coordinate with the appropriate team for the completion of new loan disbursements.
- Handle Agricultural loan budget draw requests and approvals withing authority; submit to Loan officer for approvals where needed.
- Maintain daily log of all loan draw advances and send quarterly report to Credit Administration.
- Prepare document package and boarding instructions for transfer to Loan Operations department for boarding.
- Interact with new and current Bank customers regarding their loan status, history and payments.
- Field incoming calls from existing and prospective customers, be able to assist them directly or refer them to the appropriate team member for assistance.
- Comply with all applicable Banking compliance rules and regulations established by both internal departments and external agencies
Secondary Responsibilities
- Process, service and assist with SBA loans as needed
- Support Senior Loan Officer in preparation of the weekly pipeline report; provide other administrative support as needed.
- Perform all other duties assigned

Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; some college preferred; and
- Minimum of three years’ related experience and/or training; or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

Pay Range (Hourly): $25.00 - $33.00
